Product Description

The Marsuret Winery produces this wine in the Prosecco Hills of Conegliano-Valdobbiadene, which are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Grapevines have been cultivated in this particular “terroir” since Roman times, and it is here that the Marsura family has dedicated itself with passion since 1936 to looking after the vineyards (glera and native varieties such as verdiso, bianchetta and perera), to selecting and harvesting them by hand and to making sparkling wine using the Martinotti-Charmat method. The result is a Prosecco di Qualità Superiore Conegliano-Valdobbiadene DOCG wine with a unique delicate and slightly aromatic bouquet and an elegant complexity reminiscent of golden apples and wildflowers. The taste is fresh and dry with a fine and persistent perlage. The Brut version comes from a blend of grapes from characteristic vineyards located in the north-facing area of the Denomination where the grapes ripen more slowly, giving the ideal slightly unripe note.

Food pairings: Ideal as an aperitif, it also elegantly accompanies fish dishes.

Serving: use flute glasses to preserve and prolong the effervescence, temperature 8°- 9°.

The bottle is embellished with a pearl mounted on a 925 handmade silver stud, using the lampworking technique, an ancient process used in Venice since the 13th cury. The glass produced in Murano in coloured rods is then remelted in the craftsman’s atelier with a blowtorch and worked on a base of 24k gold leaf or 925 silver. The art of glass beadmaking in Venice is a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage.
